Honda Motors Plans to establish World’s Largest scooter plant in Gujarat | Apex world


Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is an innovator in the scooter market of India, plans to set up the world’s largest scooter plant in Ahmadabad, in Gujarat. Honda Motors was among the first trailblazer in the gear-less scooter segment and the company is the current leader in the scooter market, selling every second scooter with a market share of 53%. Honda Motorcycle and Scooter (HMSI) India is currently operating through three functional manufacturing plants in Karnataka, Haryana and Rajasthan, but now this time Honda motors wants to implement the brand name of Honda motors scooters in all over the world that’s why the vice-president of Honda motors Investing Rs 1,100 crores to set up HMSI’s fourth manufacturing plant, Honda Motors seems to be cementing its position as the leading manufacturer in the two-wheeler segment in India.
